Well off to the pub with a big grin on my face and wearing my Wolves shirt to watch them see off Manchester United in the televised game at 5.30pm. I really have got to start behaving like a 58 year old soon!! ;D

I don't think it should be ignored that the manager showed his tactical nous by changing his line up back to 4-4-2 pretty rapidly to counter the goal that Darlo did get immediately he had gone to 4-5-1. Who said he only knew "hoof ball" who said he never has a plan B? Well he had a plan A, B, AND C today. Well done to all concerned!

Hopefully we will get some match reports later and while it did not sound a game that might have been good to watch, on a very poor pitch it seems Bucks got his team selection and tactics bang on today.
Ellis has proved in my book it has been a mistake not playing in much this season and I hope Bucks sticks with Ellis and Branston along side each other unless there really is a good reason to make a change.
O Kane gets his first goal for us and that will do him the world of good as he has come close on a number of occasions and I’m sure he will get a few more before this season ends.
Muzzy gets another goal and he is also making the best of the opportunities he is being given at the moment and I’m sure he has a big part to play for us in our remaining games.
This was the sort of game we would have lost earlier in the season and to win by three goals to one is so pleasing and I believe another few wins and we can put to bed fully and talk about going back down to the BSP.
Grimsby also getting three points goes to show how important even picking up the one point we have in some games recently has been as they have prevented Grimsby closing the gap on us.
Looking at the table and the form Grimsby are in you wonder if they may just stay up and I would not want to put any money on them not doing just that. Another win for them a defeat for Cheltenham, would see them just one point behind them and I expect a few Cheltenham fans are starting to get a bit worried.
Really looking forward to our next home game and we can go into it with a degree of confidence after today’s result.

I didn't "expect" that we'd get a win but I felt that we would do. All credit to the team though - a tough pitch, a long journey and despite the opposition not being on a roll of great results, they had run several teams close. The team and the style of approach on Tuesday was likely to be replicated today - and it was great to see Eunan get his goal today - it was a really encouraging performance from him on Tuesday and I would hope that he can keep this up.
Despite us being in the same position from the drop zone as we were at 3pm today I still feel happier than I did ealier. I'm looking forward to the match reports.
Finally, away from the fortunes of our own club, I was pleased for those connected with Macc Town that they won today - it must have been an incredibly difficult week for them and I'm sure it must have been difficult for those young lads to go out and perform after the tragic death of Keith Alexander.

A great win for us.........this was never going to be the walkover that some predicted, nothing does more for confidence than winning away.
A real bad day for Cheltenham..........we've all seen plenty of them this season and most will agree they are a poor side devoid of much pace, unable to keep clean sheets at home and seem to rely on lumping it to Hayles and Allsopp and feeding off the scraps.
That carayol late equalizer could be the defining moment for their season and ours......
I fancy Grimsby to catch them....

Dave,
Although I am a big fan of Ellis and would always pick him ahead of Robbo, your assertion that it has been a mistake not playing him much this season ignore the impact Branston has had on the team. Ellis (and others) has been crying out for someone to take control of, and organise, the back four.
It has been a great week, just hope we can continue the move up the table.

Another match nearer to safety. And a nice cushion between us and Cheltenham now, as well. Really pleased Eunan scored. He could become a hell of a player for us.
