Incidently as things stand at the moment we now have a plus five goals for advantage over Bury one place away from automatic promotion. How crazy is that??

Someone recently pointed out on another thread how good our recent record is in the last 14 (now 15) games since Guy Branston's arrival.
I couldn't agree more that Branston's toughness and experience have been invaluable and thanks to him the defence looks so much more organised and capable now.
However, what about our surge in the last 3 (hopefully 4) games ? Who has returned to the side for these games after being left in the wilderness for so many months ? Who, in my opinion, has inspired the rest of the players with his outstanding performances ?
Right, Kevin Nicholson.

Why the hell do people draw misery from following a football game? Go out and have a bloody walk if that's the case. Meanwhile in the real world we are 2-0 up at half time against a side in the play off positions, doing well and still mantaining that gap from second bottom with the games left to play diminishing fast. Who would you rather follow right now, us or Grimsby?

Come-on Cheaterfield! Jack Lester pulls one back against the fishy-folk.
To be fair, not many could say that Nico really did homself justice earlier in the season. However, I saw a reborn Nico - one that clearly has lost weight and has obviously worked very hard. I have no doubts that if his attitude didn't come up to scratch then he would have left before the transfer window. Some of his deliveries on Saturday were sublime - we've really missed that sort of quality, however we need a left back who can keep-up with the pace of the game and not get outpaced by the opposition wingers time and time again - that certainly wasn't the case on Saturday and I hope that is the case for the remainder of the season.
