now we give them a penalty and they take it, shame we could not have held onto our lead and gone in at halftime one up.

whats going on, we go and let them get another goal straight from the restart after they scored from the spot, now we need to get to halftime as soon as possible.

Oh well, we made it to half-time just the one goal down. I'm confident that there are goals in thi team and we have a chance of getting something out of the game.

We've got a job on our hands now........a real scrap is needed to get anything out of this one.......still this bunch has proved many times before that they're up to the task. I think Sills for Rendell pretty soonish in the 2nd half may well help us in BOTH penalty boxes. Ref sounds awful.......it sounded a soft pen for us, and he evened it up with a soft one for them...........can't stand that

Benyon for Wroe.... Zeb out wide now.......on paper you'd say that we now look weaker

Wroe off and Benyon on upfront with Rendell, Zebs go outs on the wing, seems Wroe must have an injury? not sure we will get back into the game with the line up now, but Tomson may well still make the difference for us.

we concede again and now it really does look a very big hill to climb as we play up the hill if you know what I mean, but we nearly get a goal back form a shot from Thompson, so maybe there is still a chance.

Smith off and not best pleased it seems and on come Nico, Sills on as well for Rendell, so its back to trying to get a goal from set pieces, corners and throw -ins?

I think he may well have been finding things a bit too physical and Bucks has gone now for the experience of Nico

great run by Tomson and plays the ball to Zebs who from a tight angle scores, still a glimmer of hope?

Back to earth with a bump and beaten by (according to Dave Thomas) the better team. He seemed to think that our defence couldn't cope with the strength and speed of the Accy attack.
Just goes to show that location is so important in building a good team on a very small budget (matched by low gates - thats people who come to watch rather than the metal/wood things you open and close). They've picked up various players from top clubs in the area - wonder how many clubs there are with one hour of the ground? DT rated them on apar with Dagenham.
Lets move onto the Stockport game but boy do we need those three points next Saturday.

Oh well. That was the first away defeat in a while, wasn't it? I genuinely thought we had a good chance of getting something from the game and pulling-away from the bottom two teams.
I suppose that it is a dose of realism after the Cheltenham win that we are only a couple of defeats from being dragged back into a relegation spot. Accrington is never likely to be an easy place for us to visit, the pitch is probably one of the worst in the league, Accy are a very physical side and I still think that we are a fragile team (that is till developing) in many ways. What is important that we don't dwell on this and use it to build upon - there are some young and inexperienced players at League 2 in this squad and hopefully they will learn from today in a positive way.
Bucks hinted today that he is still looking to strengthen in the transfer window - no doubt this would highlight any of the shortcomings and focus Buck's mind. Onwards and upwards (hopefully!).
**EDIT**
Yep indeed Chelston. It is vital that we beat Darlington. they will be fighting for their lives and I still believe that they somehow might revive their fortunes - for them to come and win would put a very different complexion on their position, whereas a victory for us would put some serious distance between us and them.....
