The shock of the night was the revelation made by a TFF member who was standing beside me watching the match. With his teeth chattering with the cold he told me before he had left home he had put his pajamas over the radiator, yes folks this item of clothing us real men only keep in the drawer to take to wear in a hospital, or when we finally go to the old folks home, he wears in bed with his wife. You couldn't make it up could you Cheers Dave, but in all fairness they are not the 'Jimmy Jams' of old but more modern and with a light t.shirt top. You may laugh, you may scoff but boy were they warm.....and as for the bed socks. I have only now thawed out. I shan't tell you folks what Uncle Dave was trying to put into my coat pocket to keep warm

Well done to those there on Thursday - I was so cold that I've only just thawed-out so I won't try a much belated match report (especially as it has already been covered so well by others).
My thoughts were that we struggled to get to grips with their attacking players in the first half - as had already been mentioned their number 7 played very well. In the second half we gave it a good go and I felt that we might level it when we brought it back to 1-2, although Millwall still looked even more threatening on the break. The best team in the night won and we could have no complaints, but I'm really glad that the lads gave it a good go and I'm sure that they will continue to develop.
I recall that Halpin was cautioned - or at least pulled-up for dissent - in the Norwich game. He'll have to cut that out. I wasn't hugely impressed with him on Thursday, although he showed flashes of very good close control at times. Perhaps he wasn't picked-out by his team-mates at times, but I don't think he did enough to make things happen at times which was a shame as he looked excellent in some of the pre-season matches and I'm sure that he is worthy of his professional contract and will work hard to improve his game.

Don`t push it too far Dave, he`s not best pleased at the moment with what you allegedly were trying to stick in his pocket! ;D I don`t want to know what it was either!
