I've still got the picture you did for me as well Crooky - and I don't go for the fruit based drinks anymore, especially ones with umbrellas in!!

I was just trying to explain to Olivia that she was only a month old when that picture was taken at Oldham (I am right aren't I?)  In the "clear light" of a new day, Olivia was 13 months old at that time. What a sobering thought, League 1 to BSP in three years! |

Very true, its still hard to believe. I still think I'll await from a Roberts induced coma to find that we are still a league club.

As promised more of Crooky's handy work. As an explanation, prior to becoming a connoisseur of the real ale, I preferred to imbibe 'fruit based' drinks, famously refused to me by Mr Merson one cold evening in Halifax (in fact it could have been THAT evening in Halifax) when he told me to 'go and buy it my chuffing self') The broken umbrella refers to a day at Shrewsbury when that cheating little bleeder Nigel Jemson got Ryan Ashington sent off for a foul that was never a foul in 20 years of Sundays and I smashed my brolly on the concrete floor...it was the last time it was ever used and I got soaked going back to the car since it was peeing it down!  |
