Very clever to put in number six, which is at Exmouth Cricket Club on the Maer, but... that is actually the old stand from when Exmouth Town played football there way back in the sixties. AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!!!! I should have got Exmouth, Good spot Leigh. 10 seems very gettable but is proving elusive at the moment. Barty, I've had more success playing Cricket at Exmouth compared to Sidmouth thats for sure, including a career champagne moment

Given the fact there are railings running the length of the pitch on one side only, I'm assuming 10 is a shared facility. Having dismissed both Plymstock and Alphington I'm struggling at the moment.

There's certainly a fair expanse of grass between the club house and pitch. I assume the fencing is a recent innovation following the club stepping up a league. Not somewhere you'd encounter in South Devon football.

Yes, 10 is Sidmouth Town; now members of the Peninsula League
We're down to five pictures: 1, 2, 4, 5 and 15.
Two of these can be seen from a major railway line; another is close to other answers; one is at a ground Torquay United visit on occasions; the most fiendish may not be far away.

You can take 15 off the list - Rackerhayes, NARFC.

No mention in George Bradshaws train journeys of Britain, but how's about Bridgewater (FC & RFC) an Weston Super Mare FC? That would leave one to get.

Weston-super-Mare is an extraordinarily clever answer. Weston FC lies next to the mainline; the rugby ground close to the "loop line" that serves Weston itself. But it's not correct. Bridgwater Town (football) is indeed number 5 with the stand of Bridgwater & Albion (rugby) in the background. Which leaves three: one coastal; another deep inland; the third Cornish (in no particular order).

That could be St Blazey. But it isn't. Strange thing is that it's probably the one that's been most-visited by people on this site. Conrad Sutcliffe has something to say about another of the featured clubs in today's Sunday Independent. The paper also reports of difficulties with a road very close to the third mystery location.

Barty, I'm glad this self imposed torture is coming to its end. Its doing my head in ..... Family duties call and i'm off out for a while but I reckon things could be done and dusted before the sun goes down tonight, even if it takes a call to me old mate Conrad ' The Truth' Sutcliffe.
