And as (whisper) yellow (whisper) pointed out today over there, you can still access the list of old threads (115 is the last one) which has posts from Dave, Merse and plenty of other TFF favourites, if you are at all interested in what we were talking about when TUFC fell into the Conference two and a bit years ago.

yes i started posting during the dark days of he who shall not be named. I distinctly remember some member claiming alpinejoe was the chairman of the club at the time ;D. I wont be there on saturday im afriad joe. I play in the local leagues for newton spurs so only really get to plainmoor for midweek games now.

clem1989 Hello Clem, lovely to renew our acquaintance, and it's nice to have someone my own age to chat to... *cough* ;D What a good memory you have, to tell you the truth I'm sure there are even a couple of members of this site who still have a sneaking suspicion I might be Mike Bateson . I was also one of Chris Roberts backers at one stage too...a bloke named Giordano or something similar if I remember correctly. I'm sure you'll like it here & I think it will be an interesting Season to be discussing the fortunes of TUFC irrespective of which forum you use most. Can't chat more I'm afraid as my parrots need feeding. |

Two plus two equals 173. You did tend to stir things up a bit if I remember - probably a bit of a dangerous thing to do at such an emotionally-charged time. I was hopimg you would have contributed more to our Chris Roberts thread - you had a say at the start but then went quiet when I was half-expecting you to let us have more of your thoughts. Hopefully, this is a forum where you can say what you want even if you are going against "perceived wisdom". Let's hope that continues. |
