i cant stand pasties they are disgusting Not if they are made properly. Certainly I would agree with you with the Cornish ones but a proper Devon pasty with plenty of gravy delights the taste buds and puts hair on your chest! Nowt wrong with a Cornish pasty Stef! Gravy, you'll be having mushy peas next.

Well I`ve been reliably informed that there were 3 varieties of Pukka Pies available which rockets them straight down to the relegation places, shame on you Rovram!

I didn't partake of a pie at the Britannia on Sunday but I did like the advert for Wright's pies: Pie, Pie, Pie Delilah.... Also enjoyed the sight of Stoke fans arriving by canal barge. There's an idea should we ever play there! Reminded too of Pottermouth. Here's his original call to arms from Stoke's promotion season: www.ebaumsworld.com/video/watch/329522/

Ate the following pie after that game on Saturday: Despite being nicely presented I could only rate it at 5.5 - not much meat, very small bowl of Abbot Ale gravy and Broccoli

Where was that too? It looks nice, but the gravy is rather sad! Do you think the round gravy bowl was to off-set all the 90 degree corners! Carrots included!

It doesn`t surprise me that their pies weren`t to wonderful. I found generally that smaller clubs that have to fight for fans tend to have better produce on offer than the ones that are guaranteed sell-outs all the time, you don`t have to try too hard to fill O.T so a punter disappointed about the food won`t really faze them too much!

Very nice pie tonight at the Linny. Apologies for the picture and that fact that I had almost eaten it. Much better than the Barn Owl pie. 8.5 out of 10

Thanks for posting a picture of the carcass, Chelston - that knife wouldn't have looked out of place in the hands of a caveman What that on the runner beans btw? Are they still frozen, or is that salt
