Where can you also have a drink at the bar with Oliver Tobias eh? Sorry for being a bit thick here, who is Oliver Tobias ? I thought you were with me, Aussie, Leigh and Mark Boyce. Another thing, you offered to buy me a drink and only offered me a glass of coke, felt like my dad was getting me a drink.

Apologies Dave, but I thought if I'd bought you a pint you would have missed the match!!

Talking of which... Whilst at the bar did not two of you enthuse over the goods on offer on my website? I've been waiting in all day for a call to say which of the items on sale you wished to purchase? I recall I even offered a small discount...

I thought we talked about your desire to own Fiat Brava and we were just about to discuss which clock would be the one to swap when Mark walked in!

I actually dreamt of driving a Fiat Brava last night... It was like a geratric Top Gear feature!! It has become my desire to own one one day.
And was Oliver Tobias the Stud?

Open to all reasonable offers on the Fiat - yes he was in the Stud and no I don't recall any discount being offered.

Another thing, you (Chelston) offered to buy me a drink and only offered me a glass of coke, felt like my dad was getting me a drink. You were lucky Dave. Last time it was his round, he "bought" me a glass of tap water. I must say I am getting a little perturbed by this thread. It seems that Leigh is a stud, advertises his services on a website and Chelston is asking for a discount.

I have rewritten one part of my match report as I had stated it was Jake Robinson who scored our goal and it was in fact Chris Robertson who poked the ball over the line. many thanks for taking the time to write match reports and giving your views as they are so needed as Leigh likes to use what he can for our match day programme pages. Mine sounds the most negative again for the second time in a row I'll try to make my next match report a bit more up beat.

I`m begining to get fed up of reading posts remarking on the level of attendance at plainmoor.
Only in recent posts has any reference been made to the national issue or the responsibility of the bodies that run the game to address the issue.
You cannot blame individuals for not going.
Yes maybe try to establish why fans are no longer going but from afar it smacks of posters blaming those that stay away.
I have said previously, you are indeed very fortunate if you can spare the time and money to attend entertainment events on a regular basis.
Sadly the times are such that finance for a lot of us are a real concern and the job situation is such that you can no longer attend games like you used to.
There is also the added issue of the product that is being provided and whether it has the drawing power compared to other forms of entertainment.
We have witnessed demonstations today with regards the withdrawal of public services and lollipop ladies. All to save a few £`s. yet we continue to see the bloated over hyped figures of football dish up rubbish week in week out. (I`m not including the gulls in that)
Untill the powers that be seriously address football as a product i fear clubs outside the Premshite will face a slow decline.
Orient being the latest ones to suffer at the hands of the ivory tower fat cats.
I`ll get off my soap now.
I thank you.

Milber When gates drop as low as they have Milber, they are always going to be talking point and only because as fans we end up worrying about the effects they will have on the clubs finances. I don’t think anyone has blamed any individuals for not attending matches at Plainmoor, I myself have missed a few games for my own personal reasons and would not be happy if anyone started laying any blame on me. At the end of the day it is always a personal choice if we go or not and once again I don’t think anyone is laying the blame on any stay always and we have discussed at great length the reasons they may stay away and how we try and win them back. Money is very tight as you say and after paying out what I have to watch TUFC over the last month or so, I was considering watching Ant play this Saturday. But I have pledged to attend every home game I can until the end of the season as I feel it’s important to give the club as much support as possible when it needs it most. I’m not asking anyone else to, or looking to blame any fan who decides not to go up to Plainmoor, but I would make the point that our club can’t survive on gates as low as they have been and it its possible for any fan and they can afford it , do consider at least going to as many games as possible. I know we are not the only club suffering low gates at the moment, I know as you do some of the reasons why that is the case, but I can only worry about the club I have supported for 45 years and be there at its time of need.

Apologies, didn`t mean to have a pop, I think it must have been the sight of more demonstrations and the thought of where on earth this country is going.

Milber Hi Milber, did not take your post as you having a pop so don't worry on that score. I'm not including you in this, but we who do live here do get fed up having pops made at us by some who never ever get to Plainmoor, or if they do not too often. The thing is it is mostly the local home fans who have to keep coming up with the money week in and week out. That is the problem I'm afraid as we all have the same money worries as everyone else and the same concerns for our jobs.
