There was some great moves in the second half..some great inter-play between the lads...credit where its due. I doff my proverbial cap! I would go further and say some of the very best passing and moving I have seen from a TUFC side for a very long time. But to play like that we do need to keep the ball on the floor and we failed to do that for a good part of the first half. We really have so many good quality football players at our club right now, its a shame some of them are not our own players, but for me its about getting results and watching good entertaining football. I'm getting both at the moment and long may it continue. |

Just listened and watched the highlights on the BBC website. I know they are constantly getting players names wrong in the text, such as Haldin instead of Halpin but I didn't know Wayne Carlisle played!!  the commentator clearly says Wayne Carlisle?? |

My first look at some of the loanees. Wasn't impressed at all by Tomlin. Quite glad to hear that he is probably going back. That’s the problem with just watching him play once and then deciding that he should go back. If you had seen against Shrewsbury and Macclesfield you would have seen a player who is very good at holding the ball up, very good and bringing other players into play and a good finisher when he gets the opportunity. I think he would be a good addition to the squad. I also think he offers more than Billy Kee. It’s a bit unfair to dismiss him having only seen him once. Craig Stanley is the best central midfield player we have had since Alex Russell. He was absolutely outstanding last night. If we get in the play offs, we are stuffed because he won't be able to play. Absolutely agree. Stanley is the best central midfielder we have had in a long time. Even if he is unavailable for the play offs we should pullout all the stops to make sure we sign him next season. We could build a team around him. |
