Half time... NZ 14, AUS 6
All gone very quiet in Aussie world. Worried about having to dip his hand in his pocket! As they say in Twitter land #lookingagoodwager

Cracking game, and the fair result in the end. New Zealand deserving winners of the World Cup

What a complete non-event this Rugby World Cup has turned out to be. Everybody knew at the start of the tournament who was going to win it. A few minnows were offered up at the start as sacrificial lambs and shipped points in the same way as Braintree Town would ship goals if they were suddenly to find themselves in the Premier League. Our lot of course behaved abroad as only the English can! For entertainment value darts or euchre would beat this particular Rugby World Cup hands down!

What a complete non-event this Rugby World Cup has turned out to be. Couldn't agree more. I haven't seen one game yet – I'm either at work during the week or still in bed at the weekend! They might as well have held the competition on Mars.

got to agree its been a distinctly lacklustre world cup,of disappointing quality, saying that, the winners wont give a monkeys what anyone thinks on that score, and it is surely new zealand, the frogs getting there is galling enough,i hope to god new zealand dont have an off day,as that would make the french, the poorest side to win it

Come on All Blacks... To close for comfort in this second half. French defending well, this final is on a knife edge.

Bloody, bloody brilliant. Grandad will be watching down with tears in his eyes.
