David. Martin Wright is an acquaintance of mine and a lovely man, but I think your arrival at Plainmoor might have been the end of Martin's Torquay career, since he had had a hard enough time dislodging Trebilcock and Stubbs from the first team without a tasty young striker from Leicester adding to the competition.
Martin doesn't mind, though. He went on to become Eastwood Town's all time top goalscorer.
