The problem surely lies in lack of funds, Ling had no real chance in the summer to reconstruct the buckle demolition of TUFC, and yeah the cheap option has not worked, the board has to act now and give Ling an early xmas present, otherwise we will be playing Braintree away next Nov(and thats no discredit to them) and when it does the board will regret not acting when lets face it is only Oct, we have time to get this sorted but as many posts have stated the next 7 days will be critical

i agree lucy6lucy,he hasnt had the funding,we panic signed pre season, atieno, mcphee, leadbitter, morris, all average or below and lingy bought in saah whom he trusts,he probably took a wage drop to come here as well in comparison to his last club,And we have a chairman who openly admits to being a reluctant chairman,so get the board to get a chairman who wants to be there,in situ and talk, yes talk about the current crisis on and off the pitch with lingy.I still think he is more than capable of sorting us out,but even stevie wonder can see it needs drastically sorting now not at easter

one bit of good news!! Kee scores again and sinks Rovers ;D he is scoring regularly now, wasnt given a fair crack of the whip with us,and is probably fitter.Would far sooner have him in our attack than the present lot we have, but we were offered a pittance and in desperation took it,little burton have profited, good luck to him,i still think he is going to prove a lot of people totally wrong

He was homesick and it showed

one bit of good news!! Kee scores again and sinks Rovers ;D Bet Buckle didn't know what hit him - on the one hand, he probably feels justified for having faith in Kee; on the other, another defeat They're only 3 points above us. So if you think it's bad here, where Ling didn't have any money to spend, look at how much Buckle spent building that superteam and how far it got him. I'd much rather be a Torquay fan than a Rovers fan right now, let alone a Bradford or Dagenham fan

Lets get a grip here. Ling is honest and will aways say when things are not right. Buckle will/always say we are puching our weight, so for Buckle F***O** and lets give Ling the chance as its his CV at stake aswell, the board has to deliver some finance otherwise we are doomed and that is that.....simple as that

When Ling was appointed I would have no problems with him being the new manager. However. results of late have been disappointing to say the least and my big. big concern is that Ling thinks the current squad will get us out of the sh@te we are currently in without dipping his toe into the loan market. We have a poorer squad than when a certain Billy Liar was in charge - how we could do with Trigger and Ward type players now. Make no bones about it,we are in a relegation dog fight.
