As good as the gladitorial battle with Swindon was last Momday this contest was in total contrsat and the complete opsosite. Totaly devoid of entertainment, good passing and intent, thankfully from both sides. Anyone who was expecting a similar level of entertainment witnessed a few days ago would be very disapointed by todays performance. Nothing stuck up front for an isolated Atieno who was up against former Leeds defender Michael Duberry and was always a step ahead. Cant fault his effort bur unfortunately two good performances in a row are perhaps to much to ask. Today we were served up totally different game than the one on Boxing day . Gone was the slick one touch pass and move with both sides playing the game on the floor and back came the aimless ball in the air sky ball we all hate so much. To many players, from both sides thankfully, left therir football brains at home and for much of the match looked for the most part to be going through the motions, perhaps saving their energies for the final match of the busy holiday schedule. Both keepers were scarcley tested and this boor draw was a fair result that we could and should have won when first Morris fired weakly at the keeper when one on one and Mansell in a similar position inexplicably fired wide of the post when it looked easier to score or at least hit the target. A dreadful, forgetable contest with to many four or five star performances instead of the eights and nines of last week. My only hope is we were saving our energies for Mondays encounter down the road a contest that may prove to be as stern a test as we have had all season given whats at stake.

I bet Buckle would love that donkey Ellis at the back playing for him. Wrong trousers? It appears he took the wrong players Grommit.

One amusing thing as I was driving to the game today. I was impressed with the lit-up sign on the Newton Road advertising today's game. This was an initiative between our club and the council to try and attract more supporters. The trouble was that I read the game is at "Plainmore". So maybe that explains why we did not get a few more hundred today, some are still trying to find "Plainmore"!

Too much hoof and up in the air. Chances 2nd half from both. Nil nil fair. Jobs worth stewards as usual. No pictures or I'll throw you out. In the total open air behind the away terrace - no smoking. If I tell you once more ill throw you out. So can I exit and come back in with my ticket stub? No. Row of portaloos and a screened urinal was worse than Aldershot. And programme sellers had disappeared before kickoff never to return ( i got there just at 12;56)Had to go all the way round to club shop after game. Hardly makes it a friendly visit for us away fans. Not your fans fault but your management should take note.

Ellis at the back playing for him. Better game today from the fans favourite. Glad to hear it. I watched Argyle at Aldershot today. Walton and Feeney looked good, but quiet one from Chadwick who will be in our faces Monday. Tend to back Ellis in those types of contest, though. Argyle keeper, Jake Cole, saved a penalty and produced a worldy of a save late in the second half to keep Argyle in it. 4 points from Swindon and Oxford is snap yer hand off. Now let's ruin Argyle's recent purple patch of a run.

A dreadful, forgetable contest with to many four or five star performances instead of the eights and nines of last week. Pretty much sums it up. Games like this are often described as drab affairs and this was as drab as it gets. 0-0 was a fair result as neither side deserved, or did enough, to win it. I thought at one stage it was going to be won by a single act of brilliance, however there wasn't much of that on show today. Still, 3 points at Plymouth would give us 7 from 9 and a tidy return from the christmas period.

Better game today from the fans favourite. Glad to hear it. Mind you no game is quite complete without his signature move - The Sheffield Slice.

well cant add much than the 0-0 score line summed both teams up really, never looked liked scoring, never looked like conceding, come may one of us may well look back on this point as a godsend. The gate of 3053 was it? shocked me a bit, considering we had 3000 of our own on boxing day.At least its 15 points to safety now, thats all that matters at this stage, for me

Just arrived home after a 420 mile round trip. Disappointed with the game itself but standing sheltered on the popside you failed to really notice how the wind affected the run of the ball. Not too much too add to the above. Both sides had their chances but with Constable & Pitman coming on was glad to hang on for the point. The junior popside lino was at times just guessing for the direction and fluffed the opportunity when the elbow into the face should have been a straight red & a pen & he was perfectly placed to give it in the second half.
Walked straight into 2 coachloads of Argyle supporters at the Cathcart services coming back from Aldershot....... Good luck for 3 points & a better game on Monday.

He did give a corner! He's been useless in most if not all the times he's run the line. It does amaze me when they MUST see an elbow, shirt pull etc when right in front of them and not flag. Hope he gets 1/10 when being assessed.
