Sounds like the two quality loan players for Oxford (Rendell and Montano) are playing well.

Nerve racking finale could hardly bear to listen after Morris went off and that point that could be the difference in a few weeks time. It gonna be a bumpy ride with a few twists yet to come. Sounded like there were a few heroic performances today and the atmosphere sounded electric. BBC stats look worrying though with Oxford 20 shots and 12 on target to our 7 and 4 Cant wait for the match reports.

That must have been quite a Rumble in the Cotswolds, I think the team showed a lot of character to head home with a point.

What a rollercoaster day!
Before k.off had expected us to draw and S & C to win. At H-t the scores could really have not been much better, it was looking like 3 more wins and there was nothing C could do to stop us getting promoted. At F-t although the results have gone as I thought they would this now feels like a defeat. Don`t normally do predictions and am usually way off when I do, but right now I can see all 3 clubs finishing on 87pts with us dipping out on GD. I really can`t see S & C losing any of their remaining games. They are not showing the form that makes you think they are going to drop too many pts. It would not be such a tremendous run in for them to achieve; Shrews 2-3-0= 87 Crawley:3-2-0=87 Can see us doing 2-2-0=87 Although there are likely to be twists & turns within games I doubt any of S & C oppo will achieve a surprise win. Although Torres is now gone for 3 games the CB`s are due back after Wimbledon and they have the easiest run in of the 3.
The key for us to go up has to be a major effort to beat either of Southend or Crewe.

Has he started every match? No he hasn't. He was suspended for the freezing cold away to Port Vale match. i watched that game and without him we had zero creativity

I've just watched the replay of the disallowed Eunan goal, he seemed to be in line or just behind Rene when he crossed the ball!

well what a match that was,for the neutral it had everything, for the fan of either club it was probably both enthralling and terrifying all in one go. We started of superbly and desrvedly went 1 up from the irrepressible rene howe, and fow an hour or so looked very comfortable, then we just seemed to switch off, this coincided with howe being replaced by atieno and jarvis for stevens. They then preceded to batter us and turned the match around with a flukey goal from a corner and a bullet header inside the box,it really did look all lost then,we couldnt pass or keep the ball. Then suddenly 10 min from time we got a second wind from somewhere dug in deep and just gave it everything we had, then up popped atieno with the late late show. This could turn out to be a very big point in the grand scheme of things, but worryingly we had a few off their game today, morris was poor, eunan not much better, stevens the same and even oastler looked off the pace, tiredness? not sure. Another point that made it all the more frustrating was their goalie was obviously injured from early on,if we had just found the energy to pressurise him more,i am sure more goals would of come. A word on morris and his sending off,the ref was spot on with that, one of only a few decisions he got right,it was pure daft by morris who already booked went in for a two footed challenge after already being booked had to go,but we kept going and we just seem to never give in,4 more big games to go,anymore more like this and a few of us will end up in coronary care through stress, typical tufc never an easy ride

I wish we had replaced Stevens and Morris at half time with Jarvis and Rowe Turner. Their extra pace and strength could have made all the difference. Atieno certainly stretches the oppositions defense creating space for the attacking midfielders to push forward. I thought we had spells early on when we did look very good but their first goal seemed to drain us of energy. Great to see another brilliant turn out by our fans.

I've just watched the replay of the disallowed Eunan goal, he seemed to be in line or just behind Rene when he crossed the ball! Ive just got round to watching the same myself. Perhaps one of the referees on here can confirm if it should have been offside or not (not that it really matters now of course!). Eunan and Rene were in line when the ball was played, however the ball was slightly played forward (hence Eunan tapped it in closer to the goal line than when the ball was passed). Is it the case that if the ball travelled forward it is offside, whereas if the ball had travelled either parallel to the goal line or been passed slightly backwards it would have been onside ?
