Joe has certainly featured in a few Janner Independent shots this season, but as for Saturday ?....I've heard that he was elsewhere still trying to get his programme autographed by Steve Woods at the time. Another rumour circulating is that he was detained by stewards while attempting to cast multiple votes in the 'Player of the Year' ballot, & consequently arrived late, tripping over a guy sat on the steps doing the Times crossword. I'll ask him to wave at the camera at the Crewe match  |

Just returned from a great week & apart from the downpour during the game had really good weather.
Agree with loyal & pete
Eunan is a young lad and may be in need of a rest. his play was not incisive enough, too many times he delayed getting the ball in the area, or taking a shot. Its a big ask to play a young lad in such a key role and expect him to maintain his form all season.
Howe also looks to be struggling, so was no surprise to hear about his knee. couldn`t recall him winning a header, and didn`t trouble their keeper. in fact I don`t think anyone did.
Defence looked sound, but could see why we don`t score many goals.
not enough efforts on goal and too many times attacks were over complicated.
the second half was instantly forgettable.
Still southend have a good away record so were never going to be easy to beat.
match officials were poor, some curious decisions. Ref seemed to delight in his "no more" arm gesture.
PA system - time it got the red card.
Its another point & hopefully the Cobblers or daggers will help us out this week by preventing max pts for Crawley
