Yes, it's in Nottinghamshire, but only just. It's Pleasley Hill, on the Northern outskirts of Mansfield. We were not allowed down this road during the miners' strike unless we could persuade the police that we were not intending to picket. You'd have thought the blue and white scarves would have been a giveaway, really.

You'd have thought the blue and white scarves would have been a giveaway, really. Blue-and-white scarves in Mansfield, indeed! For the benefit of any Torquay United supporter who should encounter Wildebeeste in future, I can vouch he is taking active and positive steps to address the lifelong aversion he has shown towards football teams who play in yellow-and-blue. This, I understand from Mrs Wildebeeste, caused problems on their first meeting because her school colours were yellow-and-blue. So please be patient with Wildebeeste at the Argyle game should he suffer a momentary relapse. Yellow (amber perhaps?)-and-blue are, of course, the colours of the dreaded Mansfield Town should anyone reading this be confused. Wonder if the yellow stands for sand and the blue for the sea?

Ha! No need to worry, folks. Torquay United's shirts are an attractive gold colour whilst Mansfield turn out, for their current local derbies against Alfreton, in a horrible mustardy strip.
I admit that my Subbuteo team (the Wildebeestes) used to wear green, white and black but I know which team to shout for against Argyle, where I shall be chaperoned and kept onside by petef, and I am looking forward to it very much. Come on you Gulls!

You need to be careful saying that type of thing. Oh, how we laughed one Boxing Day when Exeter lost at Weymouth. Little did we know what was around the corner.....

All you need to do is copy the DIRECT LINK in photo bucket and when in the post window click on the image tag ( the forth one on the bottom row the red tube being the first one) and paste the link in the middle of the two image tags you will then see in the post window. When you upload to photo bucket can you please select the 800 x 600 size as any larger stretches out the forum. I have re hosted your image on my photo bucket to get it the correct size. If you click modify on your post, you will see how the image tags look many thanks Dave Hello there Dave. I was with you all the way to "copy". Would you be kind enough to tell me again, only in words that even a moron can understand? Thanks very much W

Thanks very much W No problem sir When in photo bucket move the cursor under the picture and a drop down menu will appear. Move the cursor over the one marked direct link and left click it and you will see the word COPIED appear. Now go back into the forum post window, click the image tags as explained and then move the cursor right in the middle of the two image tags that you will see. Right click and choose PASTE. If your still having problems then please PM me and I will help further. Dave
