Newton Spurs not on the official site Newton Abbot Spurs wanted the game but unfortunately their pitch is now unavailable which on a personal note is a shame as i have never seen a Torquay United side play on that ground. |

Herald seems to say NA Spurs on 8 July is in doubt but may still happen.
Possibility of playing Argyle at Plainmoor on 28 July.

Looks like the first opportunity to see some of the new trailists and signings will be at Liverton on Tuesday 7th July at 7pm. Would pop up but already managed to double book myself for that evening link |

A couple of interesting and rare venues for a Torquay United side to appear on this coming week. Apart from sending a youth team to play a friendly last pre season i dont think we have ever played at Liverton before. And the last time we sent a first team down to Dartmouth was 24th July 1978 when John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John were in the middle of a nine week stint at number one....thirty seven years ago ! Jon can you help with the score and scorers from the game please ?

linkI see that the Liverton game tomorrow night is off but has been replaced by Galmpton FC match at the same time - opposite Churston Grammar School I think? A note of caution - will be composed entirely of trailists so none of the new signings will feature. A mixture of trailists and squad members will be on show for the Dartmouth game this Saturday though....

Reading elsewhere, looks like we won 9-0 with Yeoman hitting five! Apparently Exodus Geohaghan was playing?

A few good performances tonight apparently. Player called Murombedzi on the wing is reported to have caught the eye and bagged a hat trick. Nothing to get carried away with yet but hopefully PC would have learnt a few things about the trialists tonight. Tougher tests await!!
