It may only be at the cat and fiddle training ground but this is a much needed run out against league opposition where many of our players are severely undercooked in terms of match fitness.
No streaming but some sort of highlight package will be made available. Will be interesting to see who starts and even 60 minutes in the legs will go a long way before next Saturday’s start. (Hopefully)

link - no word yet from TUFC sources about this match, possible that Johnson is playing with his cards close to his chest, at the end of the day, Stockport will not have any idea which players or formation they will be playing. Exeter have announced their line up which includes Ajose.

3-2 win hopefully a good work out ⚽️ Just beat me to it, looks like Exeter equalised twice, Moxey came on as a 67th minute sub but no information from TUFC yet about the game.

link - match report on Exeter website, only information on our players was it was Moxey that hit the winner, typical of an ex player, worked well for us this time!

Our club seems to be pretending this one didn't happen. I was annoyed we had no game on Saturday, but worth waiting to play a competitive team including Exeter's bench players rather than have an easy ride against a team of kids two days earlier. Still five days recovery before the next league game - or at least we hope it is just five days. Goals from Cameron, Lemonheigh-Evans and Moxey in a 3-2 win. Can understand Johnson wanting to keep Stockport in the dark but annoying that means we are too. No idea what formation we look like adopting and no idea who (if anyone!) will play on Saturday - particularly in defence. Seems Moxey was on the bench because he is indeed suspended. Could be an incoming loanee or two. Being played at the Cat & Fiddle made this feel more of a practice game then a full-on pre-season friendly. We used to have closed door friendlies, but all games are behind closed doors now. Maybe a "non-streamed friendly" is the equivalent. A previous first team game at the Cat & Fiddle saw Lee Sharpe's first team debut in the Devon Bowl back in 1987. torquayfansforum.co.uk/thread/2825/devon-bowl-1987
