The interest is there, over 3000 home support for our first game of the season last season while Stockport had over 4000. Add in exiles, Norwegian Gulls etc, those that will pay to watch as opposed to listen, then there is potential, particularly if we can keep towards the top end of the table.

Highlights from a Stockport angle. No idea how we managed to win that game on another day we could have lost by two or three and had a player sent off with Omera's arm high in an aerial challenge and also Cameron "arm ball" on the line which VAR if we had it would have given a pen for. Have to be honest I though we looked quite poor other than the last 10 minutes looking at these highlights.Lots of effort but so many times we gave the ball away in promissing positions that led to them countering us. Britton's two efforst were top class before the winner though. Full credit to the referee - wasn't over fussy, didnt fall for any faining injury and let the game flow. A rare 10 out o 10 for me.

Excellent coverage...is this the way football is going?
Got a lucky bag at the end...off one defender, goalie might have got a touch, and so might the defender on the line! How many times have we been on the receiving end of one of those late on in a game?
Hated the shirt, hated the fact you can hear every single word/shout/comment from the sidelines and pitch...but we won so a good day at the office. 🐶

I actually like the raw sound of the shouts and comments from the sidelines as opposed to the awful false crowd noise some coverage uses in the background. No cardboard cut outs either by the looks of it. Then again Plainmoor always will be far too classy for that sort of crap ! Anyway all about opinions i suppose and im looking forward to streaming the Eastliegh game tomorrow night.

I don’t like yellow...I don’t like the huge 1899 (in whatever colour) emblazoned all over the shirt...and I don’t like the ‘Skid-mark’ on the front...are there any on the back? I have never liked yellow, my favourite shirt of all time was the white one (totally white outfit) we used to wear in the 70s? The shirt I have now is the one when we were promoted back into the league...so no yellow. Listening to all that shouting and bawling from the pitch (never liked it, even when standing in the crowd) does my head in...then again, it doesn’t take much for that to happen! As for no ‘cardboard cutouts’ just when we could do with some to fill out the crowd...there aren’t any! 😀

I, too, thought the camera in Bristows gave better coverage and if the club's was moved there instead of in the TV gantry it would also have the advantage of having the commentary team there rather than in Number 10 restaurant in the Family Stand.

It is very close to my normal seat so I am slightly biased but do prefer it from that side.
