Today's quiz question is impossible for anyone under 50 but should be dead easy for the rest of us. It comes as a tribute to Dave and his grand pictures of defunct South Devon railway lines:
Which brilliant goalkeeper slept in a disused station, worked as a scrap metal dealer, also excelled at wrestling and Rugby League and became Wimbledon champion playing with a home made square racquet?

I've got the interest! Just not the knowledge. Same here. That may be the case with flim but Jon should never underestimate his all-round knowledge. He'd be the first to tell us if the subject of Wildebeeste's question had ever appeared for Bradstoke Town in a testimonial at Plainmoor. I had to Google the answer. I'm pretty sure the great all-rounder didn't face us in competitive football. But Jon may have the data regarding friendlies, testimonials and pre-season competitions.

If it wasn't for the Wimbledon success I'd be tempted to say Kenny Allen. But I think he was more of a cricketer anyway.
