Now that most of the squad are back to, or near, full fitness, I would like to take this opportunity of wishing Chris a speedy & FULL recovery and and look forward to seeing him back in a Yellow shirt very soon.

Anyone else dropped a get well card into the club, My daughter and I thought we would give Chris a more personal message and hand delivered a card to the clubs reception. I was almost in tears doing it, I know I shouldn`t have but couldn`t help it. Hard as a barstards hard bits on the outside but really a massive soft bugger deep down. Must work on it as Toddy`s being strong therefore we all must!

Positive news on the web site this morning He is starting the tablet treatment which could get the white blood cell count back to a state of remission and reduce the size of his spleen. If all goes well, could be available for selection later this season! ( Obviously a secondary consideration compared to getting better but the two do go hand in hand somewhat)
