If you've read dotcom today, you'll know the news regarding Chris Todd. As has been said in the press conference thread, it really does put everything into perspective.
Maybe this thread could be a list of good wishes from the forum which Dave (or someone) could pass onto Chris via the club?
What do you think?
Please post your best wishes on this thread please and we will send them on to the club. Many thanks Dave R

Lovely bloke, as is his dad, who I have had the pleasure of talking to on many occasions on matchdays.
Tough time ahead for Chris and his family - but he is a real battler and we can only hope and pray that he beats this.

Hard to know what to say really.
Always liked Toddy as a player - no nonsense attitude. Going to miss the threat he provided at set pieces for us.
Hope he beats this and is able to move forward with his life.

Every single best wish I could think of for Chris and his family from me as well.
And I am not going to pretend to make this my suggestion, but as someone suggested on Exeweb, maybe Torquay and Exeter should get together and arrange a match to aid the Todd family in their battle against this disease, or at least for a leukaemia charity.
My best wishes also go to Dave R and Carol. Thinking of all of you at this terrible time.

If anyone can beat this terrible illness it is Toddy and I know that everyone connected with the Club will help him and support him. All the very best to him and his family and to him continuing to help us to promotion!

Devastating news and of course best wishes to Chris. Benefit match sounds like a good idea.
Maybe his operation will be a blessing in disguise with an early diagnosis and effective treatment?

Chin up chris hope it can be sorted out in the quickest and most painless fashion. I think talk of a benifit match are a little over the top at the moment, he's still a paid member of the squad and has said himself he "MAY" be able to play again before the end of the season. I'm sure the rest of the squad will do their bit to keep him smiling.

My thoughts go out to the Todd family at this time. Be strong.
Perhaps a fundraising match between Torquay Fans forum and Dotnet could be organised. A time of unity in these difficult times between the two sites would be a good way of raising money for the Todd Family.

I was actually physically sick when I heard the news.
Makes you think of your own mortality.
Chris, my thoughts are with you at this time - and take heart from the huge support you are getting from those close to you at this time, as well as the HUGE support from all those involved at the club. You can beat this Chris.

Best wishes at a difficult time, but you're a tough old Swansea Jack and you'll see this through.
