A previous post recommended looking at Keiffer Moore of Truro City. I see that Moore recently signed a contract with Dorcherster Town. Moore is an 18 year old, 6'3'' striker with 16 goals this season and by all accounts is an exciting prospect. Apparently he has ties to Torbay. From everything I read about Moore i think he is well worth looking at. I am sure that, at the right price, we could do a deal with Dorchester-maybe a player exchange.Alan Knill likes to bring on players from what we hear and this might be a great opportunity to get a good young prospect into the club.Does anyone else know more about Moore ( apologies ). Has anyone seen him play?

Sounds a real prospect for the future there stig not sure its what we need in our situation mind you.. In any case we may not have much of a future the way things have been handled.

Thanks for your response pete.I get your point, however,if Moore is one tenth as good as Andy Carroll, and worth one tenth of Carroll in the transfer market, he must surely be worth a punt, whatever is happening at Plainmoor at the moment. He is only 18 and has plenty of time to develop. With 16 goals so far this season, albeit at a lower level, surely we must look at him.If he comes in and gets a few goals to help us avoid relegation, this would be a great bonus, but the longer term future would be key incentive here. A player exchange deal might suit both clubs and the player:surely Moore would be excited about playing in the League, we would pick up an exiting prospect and Dorchester could pick up a couple of our current squad, who might flourish at a lower level. If he is as good as reports suggest I see this as a win, win, win, win situation. Does anybody know any more about Moore?

If he's worth one-tenth of Carroll then I don't think we can afford him - £3.5 million is a bit out of our price range...(ho ho)

I was speaking with one of the Truro coaches at work the other day, who said that they (Truro) had recommended Moore to Torquay on several occasions. By all accounts a big lad who can hold the ball up well and knows where the onion sack is.

Certainly worth a look at for next season, especially if we end up playing in the BSP!!

Have it from a reliable source that Keiffer isn't joining is soon.
Not sure if we'll splash the Bliss money for him or perhaps get him back on loan until the end of the season.

Not surprised we had our opportunity to keep him years ago and as usual mucked up good luck to him
