Every game is now crucial, this more than most and we need a win by any means to lift us out of this malaise that has affected the squad. The only good news from Saturday is that we are still not in the relegation zone and if we keep fighting then even moderate success will see us retain our league status and I would rather go out with a bang than a whimper! Dagenham are no great shakes at home with only one point from their last three games and although they ironically won against Rotherham on Saturday, that was against 10 men and needed one heck of a lot of defending. We were the much better team at Plainmoor but the game was much closer than it should be as I think that was our last win at home as we look to notch our first double of the season. Howell is their top scorer and threat to look out for. Ogogo - og may be one of our better threats! Thinking back to the Saturday game, all three goals we conceded were on the counter and I think that is the game we will be looking to play. We need Rene to find his shooting boots and he will be assisted by Benyon again. Labadie had a decent debut and I was a lot happier with our midfield and think him and Manse will be a handful for most sides in this division and maybe this will be the platform to actually build upon. magic

I to would love to believe that this will be the game where we turn the corner, nothing would please me more. Sadly I just do not see where the goals will come from. Rene has dried up Benner's hasn't scored for a year. Jarvis playing the wide man doesn't look like getting anywhere near to scoring as he has been given a more defensive role. Danny scored a soft goal in the last Daggers encounter and we won the match with an own goal. The match was a bore and one I marked down as another lucky result at the time. Labadie is maybe our only hope of lifting the rest of the players and its time Mansell got on the bloody score sheet again to justify his midfield role. Easy wasn't it when he had O'kane along side creating space and chances for him. Sooner see him put back as a defender and bring in Lathrope to partner Labadie. Dump Jarvis for Maklin and get Danny on for some minutes as we are going to lose Bodin soon to International duty he needs pitch time. Time, I think we need to start thinking a bit more radically because what we have been doing for the last six months hasn't worked has it and at the end of the day what have we got to lose now. Having said what I think Taylor will again be telling Knill to pick the same team as Saturday.

If I were a betting man I would be putting a fiver on us to win tonight. Surprised? Losing streaks come to an end at some point so why not tonight? And if we lose put a tenner on Saturday, lose again put twenty on he Chesterfield match... and so on and so forth until I am completely bankrupt.!!
I think I'm going slightly mad as the Bohemian with the big teeth used to sing.

If we could sneak a win here I have a feeling that Shots and Wombles will lose tonight and probably Gargs too. We had bigger fullback problems against Oxford last match than Nico (not that im saying he played well or anything).

Didn't see Nico on the bench tonight I must admit, now that is a step forward.
I had a chat with someone tonight about this match, so I hope that changes things!

He does look like he needs a rest and I reckon thtas all it is. Still its good to see one change at least though If memory serves me right Cruise looked awful and frighteningly slow to react when introduced earlier in the season. He deserves his chance though. Looking at the same old forward line doesn't inspire confidence I just hope they prove me wrong cos Ive been saying that for the last three months.
