"Our two draws at Hartlepool and Darlington last weekend" meant, according to the results chart, matches on the Saturday and Monday.
A couple of goals for the youth team for Bradley Beattie who was something of a "great local hope" at the time.
I wonder how many supporters signed up for that two-night stay at the Cranley Gardens Hotel to see the sights of London and the delights of Griffin Park. Perhaps they took their Christmas Draw books along to sell tickets to their fellow guests.
And what's this? The official opening - by the Boyces - of the social club. Maybe they had a couple of youthful future TUFC directors in tow for that evening of music, dancing and cabaret?
