I'm getting confused over Lors' misdemeanours. I'm sure I was once in Southend when I read in the local paper that he wouldn't be playing in that evening's game because of a court appearance. I've checked and Lors did miss the game at Southend on Friday 15 September 1989. What was that all about?

I've checked and Lors did miss the game at Southend on Friday 15 September 1989. What was that all about? I suspect that subject could merit a book to itself. I recall one court appearance was over drunkenly lifting up a motorbike (presumably with the help of a drunken accomplice) and placing it on top of a parked car. That one sticks in my mind because "Mission Impossible" rather wittily produced this image with a suitable Loram-based caption.  |
