If that's the case jake Hutchings and kirtys Mackenzie have 1 more appearance between them than jack deaman who is yet to make his debut. So hardly lots of experience in that department That's a fair point but still think we are a bit light in that area although both will probably be gaining some first team pitch time this season.

I personally think we shouldn't bring him in and use the 2 lads we have as back up to sit on the bench and come on for bits and pieces, and in the instance that we get a long suspension or injury pull an established player in on loan, what's the point in paying another wage for the sake of it

I thought Ladabie looked fine Gull1. Dont forget its more difficult to get a player to join if you're struggling at the foot of the table compared to pushing for the playoffs. I also agree with SG that it would seem a waste of budget to bring in someone with no more experience than those youngsters we already have? Unless of course, he's a prodigious talent that will move for big money in a couple of years in which case, a little gamble may be required

From what I saw Saturday, Jack Deaman is a little bit of quality and he and Downes worked very well together. I would have no problem with him being first choice CB with Aaron regardless of his age and experience. I would also like Hereford's LB and the big guy they played up front. For the rest of our team, they either had a one-off poor day but if not, we have a Conference Midfield and Front-line!

Thanks for your thoughts there, defence is sorted I think now, at Tivvy, Bodin and Thompson looked more of a threat so we will see how that pans out.... not too worried about centre mid.
