With Paul Buckle returning from holiday this weekend, he is expected to make two or three new signings.
Looking at the squad we now have, what positions, do you think we may still need to strengthen.

Definately a keeper, possibly another striker. Competition is good.

Definately a keeper, possibly another striker. Competition is good. I still believe we will be getting Mr Poke, with only m. Rice at this time, a keeper must be the next signing. Not sure what keepers are available, but I'm sure Mr Buckle knows who he wants. |

Poke was fantastic last season and I cant see Southampton being desperate to keep hold of him. Rice is a serious weakness for the team in goal and its vital we get a new goalkeeper. I dont think we need another striker. This is because if we have too many options up front, there wont be any selection consistency and goal scorers, especially, need a run in the team to achive their potential. I know very little about Brough's capabilities as a centre back so we may need to strengthen there but from Buckle's tone and comments it sounds as though Brough is accomplished in that position. No question though, we have the strongest midfield in the division now. We wont get Russell but there is still the possibility that Zebs will come back. That would give us very strong wing options, alongside Stevens, Carlisle and even Hodges.

We need a new keeper . Would love Poke and with the mess Southampton are in financially at the moment it could be a possibility. I believe we need cover at right back if Bucks wants an alternative to Mansell. Apart from the keeper rols this is the only position where we don't have an another option. Thoughts?
