Harry G E Coulson, moneylender of New Cross advertising in that Millwall programme. Whatever next? Football teams with moneylenders' logos on their shirts? Heaven forbid.
The potted history of Millwall is somewhat....um....potted. No room here for Luscombeisms. Of appeal to those who keep a "soccer library".
We've come a long way since then. Back in 1957 it would have taken the club historian two weeks of intense work with index cards to come up with how many Lions' players boasted eight letter surnames.
Now it's all there at a flick of a spreadsheet......
