Well, if Knill is looking for new players to come into the starting XI, this is a good opportunity to stand out unlike the last reserve game where we were very poor although some would point to that change in formation at half time for a sharp decline in our performance. Maybe Cruise, Lathrope and Benyon are those closest to pressing for a recall?

Poke still being rested until the Ilfracombe match at least and Thompson still away so the academy keeper Daniel Lavercomber gets a chance! link

0-0 at half time. A(nother) slow start but we seemed to be coming back into things Unfortunately finished 0-2 with a couple of early goals in the second half. Positive: good performances from Ives (academy youngster - 1 to watch out for? Craig and Sullivan. Negative: Benyon had to go off with s leg injury....

If Knill really wanted to see if other players can break in to the starting team then perhaps he should have gone to watch yesterdays game - I wasn't there but heard from one of the players that neither Knill nor Asst manger were there watching the match ! I don't know if this is true - can anyone comment . If it is then its a sad refelction on Knill and shows that he doesn't have an open mind to make changes and will stick with this non creative team for the rest of the season .

Hi , welcome to this forum. Wasn't there either I'm afraid but would be surprised if this was true. Are you hinting that you would like to see Nathan Craig in the centre? Had a good game yesterday by the accounts that I've read, not least dot com and certainlty can pick a pass, something that seems to be slightly lacking at present.

have checked with the player and Knill definitely was NOT at the match - just coaching staff I would like to see Nathan Craig and Ashley Yeoman back on the bench at least. end of last season Yeoman kept their chances of staying up alive with his equaliser in the penultimate match and he has come through the youth team - He is left and right footed . Him and Craig deserve more in my opinion especially as the two new strikers don't seem overly familiar with the back of the net !!!!

I agree it's poor that he wasn't there, although Chris brass was. He was in charge of the team along with robbie Herrera
