The York team picture includes David Longhurst (deceased). He'd died whilst playing for York just a few months after they'd last played at Plainmoor.
And it's another end-of-season game against York albeit in a campaign where the play-offs were yet to come. John Impey as manager; a relatively youthful-looking parrot fancier as chairman. How things had changed.
What's this? A look back to 1984/85. Savour those names and, er, shudder.
A striped rugby shirt for £13.99 or £15.99. Paul Bastard has certainly got good value out of his. But what size did they get for Jocky Wilson? His visit, of course, clashed with the play-off final.

(insert appropriate Smilie) It's the plug-ins Steve, had a quick play earlier in the week without success as it is an inherited system but I have been absolutely manic these past few weeks. Will sort out over the weekend and post when done although will be out this Saturday afternoon! (insert wink smilie) |
