That's a smashing cover but I don't ever remember Layer Road looking quite like that.
Not a great deal in that programme to be honest. An intriguing advert from Percy's on Eld Lane: "if you want it, I've got it". Makes you wonder what old Percy traded in.
Tattooing by Sailor Bill Peartree. That was a time when tattoos were invariably associated with sailors. There must have been a considerable tattoo boom at some stage in the intervening fifty years.
