There's a whole lot that is wooden about this 1959 Gillingham programme: the drawing on the front cover; the notes from the manager and the supporters club.
Plenty of beer and pub adverts, mind, and a league table which shows a block of clubs from the north of England at the foot of the relatively new-fangled Division 4.
