Look at the list of Orient directors and you'll see the name of H.S.Zussman, Esq.
This would have been Harry Zussman who was chairman of Orient when they reached the First Division in the early 1960s. Zussman features prominently in a book called "Does Your Rabbi Know You're Here?" by Anthony Clavane which traces the influence of British Jews on football.
Zussman was friends with the theatre impresarios Leslie Grade and Bernard Delfont who each spent a period on the board at Brisbane Road. Believe it or not, Orient were known as the "Showbiz Club" in those days.
I'm also pretty sure that just about every pantomime or summer show I saw at the Princess Theatre in Torquay as a child was a Bernard Delfont Production.
