I look at some of Timbo's programmes from the 1974/77 period and wonder why I wasn't at the game. Then I remember the shortness of university terms and how a lot of the northern games were when I was back in Torquay. This one is a case in point: I was about ten days of the great adventure even starting. But I did make it to the Old Show Ground for an unremarkable 0-0 draw in 1976/77. Can't remember a thing about it other than rushing back to Sheffield for Kev Sables' birthday do.
Glad to see they were still selling blazer badges in those days. Does anyone know anybody who ever bought a football club blazer badge? Come on, own up. Chelston?
Riley's Crisps apparently were taken over by Golden Wonder. 20th Century Vending Machines, you hope, have changed their name if they're still in business.
