So did we really play a Festival of Britain friendly against a team called SWISS No 3 or did they actually turn out to be another club altogether?
And what of Mr Narracott's model showing developments taking place at Plainmoor? Was this confined to what was actually undertaken or was it a more grandiose vision of an intended Wembley of the West? It would be interesting to hear if anyone ever recalls such a model being in the possession of the supporters' club.
Nottingham Forest referred to more than once as "Notts" Forest. That always irks and is exactly what appeared on tickets for last Sunday's cup tie at Sheffield United.
