You may be interested to hear that former Gull Wayne Thomas (No. 717 on your players' list) played in goal for Worcester City in today's Conference North match versus Harrogate Town for all but the first 2 minutes. With the other 'keeper not on the bench due to injury and then the selected 'keeper sustaining an injury Wayne stepped up to play his part in a 2:0 Worcester City win. Anyone have any recollections of him showing promise between the sticks at Plainmoor?

He kept a clean sheet!
