I'll leave the Football Herald to review the new style programme. Worth every penny. Or should I say worth both pennies?

It it weren't for our new chum Mr Philbin joining TUFC, Jack Compton would not now be plying his trade for Hartlepool.
Reading manager Billy Butler would serve in the RAF in Torquay and become TUFC's manager in 1945.
Tommy Tait moved to inside right to accommodate Ralph Allen.
Allen would move to Torquay from Northampton in 1938 in a part-exchange deal for our leading scorer Haycox.
Haycox had scored 10 in 12. Allen went on to score 17 in 30 but refused to sign a new deal in 1939.
He was replaced by Tommy Tait. Tait would play three league games in 1939 and two FA Cup games in 1945 for TUFC. Five consecutive appearances.
I'm not sure if the fixture with Paignton Town was a mistake in the programme or a late change of plan.
The reserves played Bude that day winning 13-1. After that, the colts beat Ipplepen 4-1.
Our old friend Albert Hutchinson scored four and Howard seven for the reserves. Mitchell scored four for the colts.
I would imagine that is the only day in our history on which three different TUFC players scored four or more goals at Plainmoor!
