So back to the theatre of screams and a good opportunity to bounce back with bottom of the table side Telford coming into town! It was a seven goal thriller last time we met with the less said about our defence that day the better. Telford have lost six of their last seven games with a battling 3-3 draw away at Eastleigh in the middle of that sequence and a barnstorming 4-0 win against Wrexham of all people just before their losing run - how does that work? I've no idea how Hargreaves will set up the side today but needs to be different from last week. I will be looking for commitment from the team to see if we can kick start some sort of run....

This is an easy one to predict 0-7 to Telford if you combine recent results! Wasn't going to bother after last week but hey ho the suns shining, spring has arrived and I could to with the fresh air . Havent a clue how we will fare or perform its become so unpredictable this last few months absolutely no consistency which I suppose you have to expect with a young group. What it does tell me though is that its unlikely we will ever escape this division without more experience and know how on the pitch Its also very clear that Hargreaves is standing by these young players, at least publicly. He must surely know what else he needs on the pitch, some experience and leadership in the middle of the park but quality in that area is always difficult to find. A work in progress as they say but its always been that way hasn't it??

Can CH justify remaining at TUFC if we continue to get lethargic performances and poor results? Never thought I would hear myself say that but Chris - it may be time for you to go

Hargreaves has lost the plot and the team selection indicates to me that he is just clutching at straws. This was another quite shocking display. From the body language of the players they don't believe in what hes trying to do either. A sad sight to see the ground so empty and for those like myself who turned up again in that we would at least see a fighting display. Fat chance. Tuesday they will be lucky to attract a thousand - as many as were missing today from last Saturday. Nothing really worthy of reporting as far as the football and entertainment are concerned. Another crap team roles us over with ease. A strange team selection with an even lighter weight midfield and two player who fail to complement each other up front in Bowman and Campbell.
If the club actually had a choice the manager should go as far as I'm concerned. Unfortunately they do not have a choice and we are stuck with a man who is dragging the clubto depths never witnessed. Nothing against the man I actually had reservations on his appointment though could see his passion at the start of things so have stuck with it. Not after today and last week though at this rate of decline he will be taking the club into the Conference South. One other observation the two forward signings are worse than we already have sat on the bench so whats the point of that. Campbell not very mobile and just doesn't look a high enough standard of player. Yeoman is a far better choice. Reid, who was played wide today cant run as soon as he tried he could hardly lift his legs and I understand he has suffered with hip / groin problems for most of his career. MacQuilkin is being picked purely because he volunteered his services for free. Far to lightweight. Ives the golden boy now looks pretty ordinary again to lightweight and has no height or physical presence and because of this will never attract clubs from higher up the football tier. Loke Young what the f**k have you done to this poor lad Hargreaves?

I said last week that ch needs to decide on his best 11, play them in their rightful positions and in a system they understand. Sadly i dont think he knows what any of these are and the team seems to change each game. I believe that the players are trying but they are just shot away in terms of confidence and belief. Playing at home must be a pretty uninviting prospect for them at the moment, what with dwindling crowds and abuse being thrown. This in turn breeds fear in the players and invariably more poor performances. The classic vicous circle. How to break it is the challenge-the fans need something to feel good about and so do the players, where that is coming from lord only knows.
