I've been in Swindon all day so unable to get to the match and apologies for the lateness of this thread. I see we are 0-1 down so really not looking good....

Another loss, another failure to score. The sorry saga continues. We are in one hell of a downward spiral at the moment and, much as it pains me to say it, i am not sure this group has got it in them to turn it round. Next up, Nuneaton, lose that and surely CH's position becomes untenable but we know we cant afford to get rid. I just want this season to end and please god we scratch another couple of wins to guarantee safety. Grim times, how many times has that been written in the last couple of years?

Leo Amery's immortal tirade against Neville Chamberlain in May 1940 certainly springs to mind now.

So glad I didn't witness yet another inept and gutless performance. Amazed that under 1200 of our lot turned up I honestly thought it would be nearer the thousand mark. More straw clutching from CH as we tumble down the division. Seems pretty clear that the situation is now so confused he has no answers and neither do the players. Its a complete shambles and I truly feel sorry for Thea who has entrusted her investment to a novice who is drowning and sinking in quicksand.

We are a sorry excuse for a football club on and off the pitch.Hargreaves fits in well clueless and no idea but he aint alone at tufc i am afraid.Tis bloody heartbreaking watching us go down hill. Some good football knowledge people were got rid of by the club, now they aint got a clue. Some of those chopped are no doubt giggling to themselves when they see the way the club is now, what goes around and all that

A very disappointing night, for supporters and the players and all those who work for our club, especially so, as it was clear that there was plenty of fight in the side ( a lot more than Saturday) but as so often happens with teams who are struggling and therefore lacking in confidence, the luck just evades them. A nervous slip, a heavy first touch and the moment is gone. We really deserved a goal in the second half and who knows after that? But, I accept, maybe we weren't just good enough. After a promising start to the season we have to accept we just weren't strong enough this time around. The future of our club is, of course, worrying to me especially after 55 years of standing on the pop side, but it will be even worse without our support. Didn't we beat Eastleigh away recently? The last three home games have not been pleasant to watch but we all enjoyed the games earlier in the season that lifted us to second place ( albeit too briefly!) In my humble opinion we have to get behind the club, and that includes Chris Hargreaves, for the rest of the season. He is the first to admit that he is learning the job and let's see what happens when the new season gets underway . He loves this club as much as most of us on here do . We are not going to be relegated so the focus now must be on getting in the right shape for next season. Those who work for the club, on and off, the field need our SUPPORT ! Who knows what Saturday will bring??? Whatever happens I shall be there on Tuesday!
