I was not sure where to post this request - here or the programme room? - however here goes!
Having seen second team programmes posted on the programme room I was wondering if anyone had a copy of the programme for a Southern League match played at Plainmoor on 20 January 1951 between the Gulls and Worcester City? Apparently the Worcester City team were hit by pre-match illness and they had to pull in three local amateurs in the team of nine that took the field. Amazingly they only lost 2:4 - same goals difference as the reverse fixture earlier in the season which the Gulls also won. I am intrigued by the story and would appreciate if anyone can add any more?
