Good luck to anyone making this trip down to Cornwall on the first Saturday of the summer holidays and for this reason, match reports are going to be thin on the ground. However, will be interesting to see the line up and whether even at this late stage there will be any new faces?
Just two weeks and three games until the start of the season so maybe more prominence will be given to those players that Cox will see as starting then?

I am not sure Cox is too pleased with having to fulfill this fixture, which i think is a hangover from the previous regime. Given its a testamonial i don't think he feels it will be competitive enough hence talk of the closed door friendly on Monday v Oxford. Anyway it will be interesting who plays today, maybe the fringe players i suspect.

Yes, forgot it was a testimonial, bit of a awkward trip for a limited return I think.
Phil, jam on first? Going to have to agree to disagree on that one!

I see that we won with Sam Chaney scoring the only goal of the game. A bit more on the game is HERESo the second half was hardly competitive as former players came on but worth noting that Pierce Mitchell, a former Bristol City youngster turned out for us - right back or right sided central defender according to this article HERE Despite wanting to get everything done and dusted by now, seems things are still up in the air, particularly with Hurst injured.
