I see poor old Cilla passed away yesterday. A real pity. Only knew her as a presenter but Sheridan Smith played her in a biopic recently and gave me a bit more insight into the early part of her life

Very sad indeed as is when anyone passes away. I found her nasil whiney voice unbearable and to me she was visually unpleasant, eight pages plus a lift out in the paper is a bit over the top in my opinion. All my dad got was a small column in the middle of the herald express. He had a better singing voice than Cilla but that isn't difficult! Can't see why people who had never even met the woman are so emotional, I feel for her family and close friends but no one else!

Right that's it, I'm not buying anymore newspapers until they get this out of their systems. Jeez!

I took that to mean that the living ones are not very pleased that her death is stealing the limelight from them. Superficial, shallow, attention seekers, the lot of 'em. My opinion of Cilla has been written for me above by Aussie. No point in using the same keyboard keys again unnecessarily.
