I am pretty sure that this game will not be going ahead with this storm raging and triggering an Amber weather warning in the south west - a pitch inspection has been set for 9:30am and will post confirmation of this shortly......

Why does the Official site tell us that: As soon as a new date for the tie is confirmed, details will appear here... Read more at www.torquayunited.com/news/article/game-off-2941285.aspx#Z4kmzU8svlVFmHtT.99No update there - BUT - the fixture list on the Official site already details the game for next Tuesday. Does the left hand not know what the right hand is doing - and are the Club confident that the 2 to 3 inches of rain forecast for Sunday and Monday will not be a potential problem?

Pretty sure it isn't going too happen Tuesday either, playing catch up with all the games now is a double whammy for a depleted squad, never in a million years will this bunch win ten of them.

The club arranged a pitch inspection this evening and the referee is happy for the game tomorrow to go ahead. There will be a precautionary inspection at 5.30 tomorrow but the game is ON as things stand.

I wouldn't have been able to go on Saturday as I was in Macclesfield for the league game ( !!!) so the postponement suited me! With Rees and Racchi available, I wonder if Butler might drop to left back to give Nico a rest? Lavercombe Berry Smith MacDonald Butler Richards Rees Racchi Verma Wright Allen subs: Fisher Gerring Geohaghan Hancox Finch

Sadly we are nearly a spent force - there are few options left and let's face it we are rubbish this season and we are going down. Absolutely no idea what the strategy will be at the end of this abysmal campaign!

Verma was out so Nicho started.
Went 4-1-4-1 with Richards holding behind Rees and Raachi with Allen right, Butler left and Wright alone up front. No Finch so only four on the bench.
Some good stuff from Rees and Allen, but some shocking defending.
A replay we could do without!
