The Torquay Fans Forum has become aware that a secret agent using the code name Barton Downs has infiltrated the forum.
It is believed he selected his user name after studying a WW2 reconnaissance photo of Torquay. In order to help conceal is true identity , he has looked closer at a map of the Barton area and has informed everyone, that he went to the local schools at Barton.
He is very clever and cunning and has gone on to claim he was a bus conductor for the Devon General, as he worked out it seemed to be the most popular employment in this area in the days that fit in with many members age on the forum.
It is known that he has been carrying out a reconnaissance exercise on one of our members tufc01 and his family. Their movements have been tracked and recorded, it is unknown at this time if any other members are under investigation.
It is felt a matter of urgency that we discover the true identity of agent Barton so we can decide what action if any we may need to take. Many clues have been left around the forum and its hoped that one of our more clever members can piece all the clues together.
Mind you we don't want to frighten him away as he providing the forum with so much interesting reading, is he really one of us, just like you and I? or is a an agent? and who is he working for?

If anyone saw a sorry-looking character - with a swollen face, a packet of Nurofen Plus and a copy of the Non League Paper - taking a latte at Exeter Quayside this morning you need to know he's been operating behind enemy lines for the past eighteen months. Those in the know suggest he may be spotted at 815 to 820 this Monday morning risking life and limb to buy a copy of the Herald Express from the newsagent on Queen Street, Exeter, the one next to Boston Tea Party. Otherwise he'll be deeply embedded this week and may not emerge into the outside world, this side of the Blackdowns, for a few days.
