Its eighteen years this month since Colchester beat us in the play off final at Wembley on that depressing evening in 1998. And how can we forget the misery of relegation on the final day in 2005 at Layer Road. It gives me a wry smile to finally see them relegated this season back to level four of league football......not that im bitter or anything. Anyway this is a scarce single sheet programme from a Thursday afternoon league fixture at Layer Road back in 1955.   |
