I would say that is Plymouth. The kit in the video possibly looks yellow and green to me and as if it is made by the manufacturer Pilgrim. At the time Plymouth's home kit was all white (see historicalkits.co.uk/Plymouth_Argyle/Plymouth_Argyle.htm) and the home kit is in the same style as the yellow one displayed in the video. Saying that - TUFC also had kits supplied by Pilgrim at the same time, so it is feasible that an away kit of ours would have been yellow with blue trim. Strangely, that must have been the only era when all three Devon clubs had the same colour home kits, with all wearing white shirts.

What is the point of this thread? Westyorkshiregull was kind enough to share a video that purported to be of TUFC. Many thanks to him for that - even if it turned out that the video had been wrongly identified.

Yes any old footage is always appreciated. I know Jon found those lovely old british pathe film clips of the Leeds and Spurs games from the 50s and 60s. However i would love to know if any old TSW or Westward TV as it was back then local football highlights from the 70s have survived. They usually lasted only 2 or 3 minutes at the end of the evening regional news. I certainly remember the home game against Grimsby in 77...the game when Willie Brown blatently controlled the ball with his hand and ran on to score in a game we won 3 1 with commentary from a loud Chris Fear. Highlights of the Newcastle cup game away in 79 were also shown but i guess that was courtesy of Tyne Tees television at the time maybe. The majority of the games covered featured Plymouth and Exeter i think but on the odd occasion after we had seen Chis Fear up on the gantry on the Saturday we just had to catch the last 5 minutes of Mondays local news...
