I still have the video I recorded while I was at Wembley. Haven't played it for a while though. I think it was Setanta at that time.
I vividly remember that goal even today. It was a fantastic cross from Wayne Carlisle.
Ah! Those were the days.
( Unfortunately I decided to drive down from N Devon on Saturday)

Sad that it brought a smile to my face and then the thought it may never happen again. I had it recorded on Setanta to relive the experience of being there and of course they went bump and it disappeared...

I seem to recall that I leapt up and started running up and down the steps screaming but before you could get up a steward came over and told you to remain seated. You spent the rest of the match moaning that it wasn't fair. At least the lino falling over on Saturday raised a smile. |
