Our last game of a difficult year sees us match up against promotion hopefuls with recent loan signing and local boy Kieffer Moore now back in form and perhaps the big dangerman. I am away still so will be keeping an eye on things from afar.

Somehow on this day last season we stuffed a very good side. Can't honestly see it happening again but who knows. My main wish today is that we see a decent crowd and that the new owners revciev a "civilised" reception - the result though important is secondary to the future of the club and how we all can help move things in the right direction.

And David Fitzpatrick scored to make it 2-0 to the gulls with a third coming from a McGinty header from a corner!!!

Wow what a thriller! This game had the lot for me - drama till the very end and so unexpected. A solid hard working and well organised first half laid the foundations to go up a gear in the second. We amazingly managed to to go three up mid way through the second period only to hand FG back the innitiative in a crazy 6 or7 minute spell. After that it really could have gome either way. At three all and with Kiefer Moore bearing down on goal after turning a defender with just Moore to beat I feared the worst. Somehow he stumbled and lost control when it looked easier to slide the ball into the net. Just afew minutes later we scamper up the othe rend and score a fourth that seals the match. FG's powerful attack were always a threat once they scored the first of their comeback goals and for sure they smelled blood and pressured our defendes into mistakes though I didnt really see any one to blame for the way the game slipped back in their favour. The important thing for me was all of of our players continued to believe and didnt let their heads drop for a moment despite the fact FG silenced the crowd when their third hit the net. Before all of the drama Brendan Moore had produced some exccellent saves whilst we had chances of our own but couldnt take them. Everyone put in a great shift but for me Arman Verma was instrumental in todays result never allowing Sinclair to settle on the ball to direct and dictate things from the middle of the park. Having said that though Nico did get all of his tactics right. Fitzpatrick covering Galifoco on the right side of defense and always willing to get forward and Verma at the top of his game breaking up play in the center. The fact we now have two genuine wide men has also made a huge diference to our level of threat in the last third. Not one poor performance at all today hope we can build on it though tough going to their place next week just as it was last season. Isn't it strange how history repeats itself. Top marks to KN and all of the squad considring whats gone on of late this was as good as I 've seen for a long time.

Great result and thoroughly entertaining game. Reid for Chaney was the key for me, can't see much of a future in professional football for the latter unless something changes.
Poor support from Forest Green's fans. Loads walked out after our third, and nearly all had gone before the final whistle. Doesn't bode well for when their bubble inevitably bursts.
